Second Shift Agents pricing

Second Shift Agents prices work by the specific workflow, systems, volume, evidence requirements, and approval boundaries involved. There is no standard self-serve plan or public list price today because a customs-entry workflow, an order-to-ship workflow, and a carrier follow-up workflow do not carry the same implementation or operating burden.

How pricing is established

Start with one workflow. In a working session we identify the trigger, required inputs, systems, expected outcome, normal volume, exception handling, evidence, and consequential approval points. If the workflow is a fit, Second Shift provides a written scope and price before paid work begins.

What a scoped proposal includes

Every proposal states:

• the workflow outcome and acceptance evidence;
• the systems, accounts, and data boundaries involved;
• implementation and integration work;
• the recurring operating service, if any;
• expected volume and any usage assumptions;
• normal handling, exceptions, and escalation paths;
• the actions an agent may take independently;
• the actions that remain subject to human approval;
• client responsibilities and required access;
• any third-party costs or pass-through charges;
• the billing period, start date, and proration convention;
• change, renewal, cancellation, and termination terms.

What is free to inspect

The public website, discovery documents, MCP descriptions, OpenAPI document, and no-write sandbox are available without charge. Submitting a booking request or workflow preflight does not create a purchase, checkout session, recurring commitment, or authorization to spend.

Agent purchasing authority

An agent may transmit an authorized workflow request, but it cannot accept pricing or bind a principal unless the principal has separately granted that authority and Second Shift has verified it. Payment and checkout surfaces remain disabled until the specific workflow, organization, billing authority, and commercial terms have been approved.
