About Second Shift Agents

Second Shift Agents LLC builds supervised AI agents for the operational workflows that move goods and information through supply chains. We begin with one real trigger-to-outcome process, learn it alongside the person who performs the work, and automate the mechanical coordination inside the tools that team already trusts. The goal is not a generic chatbot or a rip-and-replace system; it is reliable completion of a known job with visible evidence and clear human authority.

Current work includes customs entry preparation for freight forwarding, wholesale order-to-ship coordination for appliance distribution, verified prospect research, drive-time-aware field-sales routing, and cross-company follow-up such as carrier dispatch chasing. These examples reflect active operating experience, but every client workflow is scoped separately around its own systems, inputs, outcomes, exceptions, volumes, and approvals.

Our operating principle is directed agentification. Agents can investigate, draft, reconcile, and execute the work they have been authorized to perform. People retain direction, customer relationships, pricing authority, taste, and consequential judgment. Filings, money movement, commitments, messages, deletions, and other sensitive effects keep the same approval and audit requirements regardless of whether a human interface or an agent interface is used.
